You are Temperance
Strengths
- Synthesizes opposites. Creates from conflict instead of choosing one
- Experiments without losing its center. The body knows when to stop
- Transforms instead of choosing. The middle way as creation
Shadows
- The third becomes nobody. Gets lost in the synthesis trying not to lose anything
- Balance becomes immobility. Stops between two extremes without ever choosing
- Confuses the middle with the right. The middle way is not always the answer
Your birth arcanum
Add all the digits of your birth date (dd + mm + yyyy) until you get a number from 1 to 22. If the result is 14, this is your arcanum. Even without calculations: if you are described as someone who always finds the middle way, if you know what it means to create from conflict — this arcanum belongs to you.
The color · #16A085
Teal, transparent and fluid. The body melts — tension that dilutes, boundaries that soften. Water doesn't choose an edge: it flows between both. Like the moment when two opposite things stop being in conflict and start flowing together. If this color attracts you, it's because you are trying to mix what seems immiscible.
What this candle does
- Inner conflict between two polarities → The ability to create a third that contains both
- Excess in any direction → The return to balance without giving up
- Paralyzing indecision → The middle way as a choice, not an escape
- Identity confusion → The center that holds even when experimenting
After the ritual
The body becomes fluid — nothing is rigid, nothing is confused anymore. The feeling of having created something that did not exist before: a path that was neither of the two, but that is yours.
The Arcanum in your life
Money
Temperance earns by creating value where others only see a binary choice. It sees combinations, synergies, possibilities that arise from bringing together what seems to be opposite. Its strength is the ability to mediate, to find the agreement that makes everyone win. The block is the immobility of the center: it stays halfway and never decides. Abundance arrives when the third option is truly new — when the synthesis creates something worth creating. It dissipates when the synthesis is just a weak compromise. The task is to remember that the middle way must create, not just mediate.
Relationships
It enters as a bridge — between two people, between two families, between two ways of being. But Temperance is not the arcana of fusion relationships: it is the arcana of relationships that contain differences without nullifying them. The shadow is endless mediation — trying to hold together what must separate. The key lesson: not all couples must merge. Some must learn to flow together without losing their respective forms.
Health
As a resource: balanced hormonal system, regulated metabolism, flexible body, glowing skin from within. Balance translates into visible harmony. In overload: indecision that blocks the body, water retention from accumulation without release, digestive problems from too much and too little together, reactive skin. Reactive zones are the endocrine system, the digestive system, the skin, the joints. It needs fluid movement — swimming, fluid yoga, dance. Watermelon cools and balances internal temperature. Magnesium regulates the nervous system and brings back balance.
Temperance does not choose between two things. It creates a third. And that is much harder — and much more beautiful.
Olfactory Profile
Top · Watermelon
Opens with an aquatic and refreshing note — red flesh, seeds, summer. Watermelon is not heavily sweet: it’s the sweetness that hydrates, balances, and refreshes without cooling.
Heart · Magnesium
Enters as a white powder — mineral, clean, rebalancing. Magnesium doesn't transform the aroma: it regulates the nervous system that perceives it. It is the heart of balance: it doesn't add, it normalizes.
Base · Rose Water
Floral, delicate, persistent. Rose water is the base of fluidity — not of force, but of the ability to flow. It closes the perfume with a note of rediscovered harmony.
A perfume that fluidifies — not one that forces, not one that rejects. The body learns to contain opposites without choosing one. Synthesis is possible. The third exists.
The ritual
Light the candle. Take two objects that represent what is in conflict in your life. Place them next to each other. Look. Ask a question: "Is there a third? What can I create that is neither of the two?" Do not seek compromise — seek synthesis. The key phrase: "I mix. I create. I balance."
Application
Thin layer over the entire body — with fluid movements, without abrupt stops. Concentrate on these points:
- Solar plexus area – center of transformation
- Inside of elbows – points where the body bends to receive
- Heart area – center of emotional synthesis
- Wrists – points of flow, where blood flows
